Welcome to Blue Heron School Council!
As a school council member, you, the parents of the students at Blue Heron P.S., can help the council discover new and exciting ways to contribute to the education of the students at this school. Education is a partnership involving parents, students, teachers, principals and the community. As a parent of a student(s) at this school, your involvement in the council gives you the opportunity to strengthen and shape that partnership and to be a part of a dedicated team working to ensure a high quality of education and activities that support the school experience and environment.
Currently, our School Council meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in the school library. However, because our March break and some exciting events happening in the month of March (Community Iftar Potluck dinner on the 20th and our Family Literacy Night on the 27th), our next meeting is Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024. All are welcome to attend!
